On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, Creighton University held a dedication ceremony for its new baseball practice field at 17th and Cuming Streets in Omaha. Attendees included President Rev. Daniel S. Hendrickson, Athletic Director Marcus Blossom, Head Coach Mark Kingston, and Vice President Matthew Gerard. Simultaneously, Charles Schwab Field featured new food items for the College World Series, including Grandslam Nacho, Steakhouse Mac and Cheese, and the Midwest Monster Twinkie with strawberry compote and chocolate sauce.
