On Wednesday, June 24, 2026, CHI Health held a ribbon cutting ceremony in Omaha for its new 50,000 square foot orthopedic center at Lakeside Hospital. During the event, Rev. Kent Beausoleil blessed the facility. The new center is established to house Creighton's new orthopedic surgery residency, integrating advanced medical infrastructure with academic training to enhance specialized surgical care and residency opportunities within the local healthcare system in Omaha.
