Handing out Old Glory

Helena observed America's 250th birthday this Saturday during the annual Old Glory Flag celebration at Centennial Park. Approximately 2,000 attendees gathered with families, consuming 50 gallons of root beer and 1,800 free hotdogs. Simultaneously, U.S. Rep. Chris Pappas, a candidate for the U.S. Senate from Manchester, distributed flags to children along Baboosic Lake Road during the Merrimack Fourth of July parade. Both events highlighted community spirit and patriotic traditions across different regional locations.
