The Sarpy County Fair in Springfield took place on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Youth participants included 13-year-old Scarlet McCord with her angus cross calf, Bohdi, and 9-year-old Philip Lashey during a poultry show judged by Trey Stewart. Other activities featured Annie Grace Bourne in mutton busting, while Garret Wall of Sioux City and Cooper Newberry of Allen competed in extreme bull riding, with Newberry being thrown from his bull during the event.
