Log Road Fire grows to more than 1,000 acres

The Log Road Fire in Sioux County has expanded, with reports from Gov. Jim Pillen and the Crawford Volunteer Fire Department estimating the size between 1,000 and 1,200 acres. Simultaneously, the Aspen Acres Fire has burned over 28,000 acres. This blaze destroyed 55 homes in Custer County and more than 100 structures in Pueblo County, bringing the total number of destroyed structures to over 155 across the affected regions.
