16-year-old found dead in Jefferson County home; 3 juveniles in custody

Three juveniles are in custody after a 16-year-old girl was shot to death inside her Jefferson County home near Hillsboro. The county juvenile office is currently reviewing the case. Separately, MCSO officials have charged 17-year-old Messiah Archuleta with murder following the shooting death of a 16-year-old in the Conroe area during early July. Both incidents involve the deaths of teenagers and have resulted in the detention of juvenile suspects by local law enforcement.
