18-year-old pleads guilty to fatally stabbing Spirit Lake man

Joshua Azure, aged 18, has pleaded guilty to the fatal stabbing of 31-year-old Jesse Clark Davis in Spirit Lake, with sentencing scheduled for February. Separately, 71-year-old Joseph Rodriguez from Irvine, California, pleaded guilty to a $4.6 million fraud scheme. Between February and July 2023, Rodriguez submitted fake invoices to a New Jersey firm, falsely claiming that millions of dollars were owed to Old American, according to official court documents and statements made during the proceedings.
