Teen Arrested Over Plan to Attack Hindu Temple, Officials Say

Alexandros Paporakis, a 19-year-old man from suburban Chicago, was arrested for plotting a racially motivated mass shooting at a Hindu temple. Authorities report the suspect was in the temple parking lot on Sunday and informed a co-worker that his gun had jammed. Paporakis remains in jail without bail pending trial. A judge has mandated that he continue receiving hormone treatments for gender transition while incarcerated, as he faces charges related to the planned attack.
