ISP seeks information on person of interest in kidnapping, murder of Tammy Zywicki 34 years ago

The Illinois State Police and FBI are actively seeking information regarding a person of interest in the 34-year-old kidnapping and murder of Tammy J. Zywicki. The New Jersey native disappeared on August 23, 1992, while traveling to college in Grinnell, Iowa. She was last seen in LaSalle County between 3 and 4 p.m. with her broken-down 1985 White Pontiac T1000. Authorities continue to investigate the unsolved case to bring closure to the victim's family.
