1Password lets AI agents use your passwords without seeing them

1Password has launched 1Password for Agents, a new feature for individual and family accounts. This integration allows AI agents, including ChatGPT Dots, Claude Duet, Grok Bot, and Meta Muse, to log into websites using stored credentials without seeing the passwords. Agents must verify their identity via a unique digital key. Users maintain control by granting approval for specific sign-in requests, ensuring bots do not have unrestricted access to all connected accounts within the vault.
