Two dead, including infant, after boat capsizes in New York Harbor; 12 rescued

A 22-foot bowrider capsized near Liberty Island in New York Harbor on Saturday night, resulting in two fatalities. The victims, an adult female and an infant, were recovered from the water by NYPD divers. Both individuals were transported to the hospital in critical condition but were declared dead on arrival. Additionally, 12 other people were rescued from the scene following the vessel overturning. Police are managing the investigation into the incident that occurred in the harbor.
