2026 IHSA Class 1A state football playoff pairings and scores

The Illinois High School Association has revealed the 2026 state football playoff pairings. The top 16 seeds earn a bye during the Opening Round. Higher seeds host the first round, while subsequent hosting depends on previous game locations or seeding. Matches occur weekly, beginning October 23 and 24. Games are scheduled for Saturdays unless both schools agree to Friday. The state championship games for these classes will be hosted at Hancock Stadium in Normal.
