What to watch for in Bears-Patriots on Thursday: New England secondary raises stakes for Caleb Williams

The New England Patriots' secondary presents a significant challenge for Caleb Williams, requiring higher precision and quicker decision-making than his previous performance in Atlanta. While starting cornerback Carlton Davis is sidelined with a neck injury, the Patriots retain elite talent including Christian Gonzalez and three-time All-Pro safety Kevin Byard. Byard, who led the NFL with seven interceptions last season, remains available despite a chest injury to lead the defense against the Chicago Bears.
