Multiple arrested in major federal raid of Mexican mafia in Southern California

Federal officials raided Southern California, targeting alleged Mexican Mafia members. Search and arrest warrants were executed at 30 sites, mainly in Orange County. Forty-three people were indicted on murder, kidnapping, extortion, drug trafficking, and illegal gambling. Authorities seized 120 pounds of meth, over eight pounds of fentanyl, 25 firearms, and more than $30,000 in cash.
