$5M donation helps 'stop the bleeding' as Omaha businesses deal with streetcar work

A $5M donation is supporting Omaha businesses affected by streetcar construction on Farnam Street, which has limited customer access. From the streetcar business impact fund, $3.8 million has already been distributed through grants and low-interest, partially or fully forgivable loans. Mark Gregory, owner of Fifth House, noted that this assistance provides critical emotional and financial support. Eligible businesses can continue to apply for these funds until the available resources are completely exhausted.
