A routine tow call turned into an animal rescue operation in Oregon

A routine tow call in Eugene, Oregon, evolved into an animal rescue operation after officers discovered over 100 pet rats inside two parked vehicles. The animals were found living in overcrowded and unsanitary conditions, with very little food or water available to them. Authorities intervened to rescue the pets from these hazardous environments, ensuring the animals were removed from the vehicles after the discovery of their poor living conditions during the initial tow call.
