How I monitor my entire home network for free - no port forwarding, no VPN

A home server user implemented free uptime monitoring for a Fedora Linux system running Podman containers, including Home Assistant and AdGuard Home, to avoid visibility gaps after power outages. Separately, public Telegram channels can be monitored without API keys or bots by polling the web preview at t.me/s/channel. This method uses a Python loop with requests and re to detect new sequential post IDs from the HTML, providing a cost-free alternative for tracking channel updates.
