A very Trump July 4

Former special counsel Jack Smith stated on Thursday that he is very concerned about the midterm elections under President Donald Trump. Smith previously prosecuted Trump in two separate cases involving the alleged mishandling of classified documents and efforts to overturn the 2020 election. However, both of these legal cases were dismissed after Trump won. Meanwhile, The Logoff newsletter announced it would be off tomorrow in observance of the July 4 holiday celebrations.
