Academy Museum Unveils The Horror Show Exhibition Featuring ‘Carrie’ 50th Anniversary Screening, John Carpenter Retrospective

The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures will debut The Horror Show, an extensive exhibition dedicated to the art and craft of horror movies. Launching in September to coincide with Halloween, the ten-month event includes a John Carpenter: Prince of Darkness retrospective and a 50th anniversary screening of Carrie featuring Sissy Spacek. This new exhibition and its associated film series aim to explore the creative elements of the horror genre through curated displays and cinematic screenings.
