AI Is Hitting Entry-Level Jobs Hardest, Stanford Study Finds

A Stanford University study reveals that AI is significantly impacting entry-level job opportunities for younger workers. Analyzing anonymized salary data from the ADP platform, researchers found that employment for individuals aged 22 to 25 in AI-exposed occupations is 19% lower than in less exposed roles, increasing from 13% last year. While younger professionals face these losses, older and more experienced workers remain largely unaffected, indicating that AI's current labor market effects are concentrated among early-career employees.
