A Polish handwriting companion for my son, powered by local AI

Two local AI applications were developed for the Hacktoberfest Weekend Challenge: Build for a Friend. Literkowy warsztat is a Windows app helping an eight-year-old practice Polish handwriting through animated demonstrations and printable exercises. Pawelle is a private pet companion for a cat named Pinky, providing daily care plans and history logs. Both tools prioritize privacy by running open-weight models locally on computers, ensuring no cloud accounts or internet connections are required for operation.
