AIM-424 “Malice” Very Long-Range Air-To-Air Missile Emerges From The Shadows

The U.S. Navy and Raytheon have unveiled the AIM-424 Malice, a very long-range air-to-air missile. This weapon system is engineered to strike targets at distances exceeding 250 nautical miles. The AIM-424 Malice is intended for integration with the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet, the F-35C JSF, and the future F/A-XX aircraft. This new capability provides the Navy with an extreme-range option for aerial combat, emerging from development to enhance the fleet's long-distance engagement capabilities.
