Air Force picks General Atomics, Anduril to build first CCA drone wingmen

The Air Force has selected General Atomics and Anduril to build the first operational CCA drone wingmen. To support this initiative, Anduril, Shield AI, and Collins Aerospace have been chosen to compete for the contract to provide the primary mission autonomy software for CCA Increment 1. These companies will develop the critical autonomy systems required for these collaborative combat aircraft to function effectively as autonomous wingmen in future military aerial operations.
