Alan Ritchson in Talks to Join Sony’s ‘Helldivers’ Adaptation

Alan Ritchson is currently in talks to star in Sony Pictures' feature film adaptation of the Helldivers video game franchise. The project, based on the series from Arrowhead Game Studios, is being directed by Justin Lin. Ritchson is being considered for the lead role following the exit of Jason Momoa, who was previously attached to the sci-fi action movie. Sony and Lin have moved quickly to secure a replacement to advance the production of the adaptation.
