Amazon and Microsoft join new nonprofit’s push to help American workers navigate the AI economy

Amazon, Microsoft, OpenAI, and Anthropic have established RAISE US, a new nonprofit led by former Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo. The organization focuses on helping American workers navigate the AI economy by partnering with governors, employers, and training entities to retrain and redeploy those displaced by AI. RAISE US seeks to secure $1 billion in multi-year commitments to support these initiatives, with more than half of the total funding already successfully secured for the program.
