OCTROT heated blankets and throws recalled after fires and injuries

U.S. product safety regulators have issued recalls for OCTROT heated blankets and throws manufactured in China due to risks of serious injury or death from fires. Additionally, over 120K refrigerators with date codes from December 2018 through December 2020 are being recalled. This action follows reports of 34 fires and one death associated with the appliances. Both recalls aim to prevent further accidents and protect consumers from hazardous defective products in their homes.
