Amazon MGM Studios Hires HBO Max’s Pia Barlow as Head of Original Series Marketing

Amazon MGM Studios has appointed Pia Barlow as VP of Series Marketing, marking the first time the studio has a dedicated senior executive for original series. Previously an EVP at HBO Max and an executive at Netflix, Barlow will oversee all marketing efforts for Prime Video’s U.S. and Global Original Series starting August 3. In her new role, she will report directly to Sue Kroll, the global head of marketing at Amazon MGM Studios.
