(PR) AMD Unveils Helion Rack Based on Open Compute Project Specifications

AMD has introduced the AMD Helion agentic AI rack, an open blueprint based on Open Compute Project specifications powered by AMD compute to provide flexibility for agentic AI infrastructure. Simultaneously, Astera Labs announced Orion, a modular rack-scale reference design featuring production-grade connectivity. Orion is compute-agnostic, allowing customers to select their own GPU and CPU. These solutions aim to help neocloud and enterprise customers deploy AI infrastructure faster and operate token-efficient AI factories more economically.
