AMD introduced the Threadripper Halo Station at IFA 2026, describing it as the world's most powerful workstation. This liquid-cooled system features a 96-core Zen 5 Threadripper PRO 9995WX CPU, codenamed Shimada Peak, and supports up to four AMD Instinct MI350P accelerators with 2TB of DDR5. Designed to bring supercomputer-class compute to developers, the station enables users to run AI models with over one trillion parameters locally without requiring a cloud connection for processing.
