Andrea Eastman Dies: ‘Godfather’ Casting Director & Longtime Agent At ICM Was 86

Andrea Eastman, a pioneering casting director and agent, has died at age 86. She broke industry boundaries at Paramount during the 1970s and contributed to The Godfather. Later, she became the first female superagent upon her promotion to SVP at International Creative Management. While her casting output was not extensive, she was renowned for her ability to identify untested talent and secure breakout roles for them throughout her distinguished career at ICM and Paramount.
