Android earthquake alerts now available in more than 200 regions

Android has expanded its Earthquake Alerts System to cover more than 200 regions globally, with over 1 billion alerts already sent to users. The system is receiving updates to become smarter regarding the specific actions users should take during seismic events. While the goal is for users to never actually encounter these updates in a real-life scenario, the enhancements aim to improve safety and responsiveness through more precise and actionable notifications across the Android ecosystem.
