Android opens enrollment for program that brings one-tap sideloading for app stores

Google has opened enrollment for the Android Registered App Stores program, which officially launches on December 1. This initiative aims to simplify the installation process for third-party stores by introducing one-tap sideloading. The program, influenced by Epic, allows for easier app installs provided the stores receive Google's stamp of approval. This strategic move modifies how users access alternative app marketplaces on Android devices, streamlining the overall user experience for third-party software distribution.
