Alpha Dog Games, the studio responsible for Mighty Doom, has become independently owned again after Microsoft closed the Bethesda-owned entity in 2024. Simultaneously, Xbox is renewing its focus on console exclusives to ensure consistent platform growth. Chief strategy officer Matthew Ball confirmed that Gears of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution are not the only titles planned for Xbox Series X|S and PC, as the company seeks a reliable pipeline of exclusive games and services.
