NVIDIA Rallies Over 100 Partners For Open Agent Safety Platform Launch

NVIDIA has launched the Open Agent Safety Platform, an open reference design involving over 100 organizations to enforce AI agent safety externally. The system utilizes OpenShell, an Apache 2.0 runtime, to sandbox agents on Vera CPUs using YAML policies. Additionally, Sentry acts as an out-of-band watchdog on BlueField-4 DPUs, capable of quarantining agents that escape their boundaries within milliseconds. This initiative prevents rogue neural networks from causing damage when given broad tools to accomplish goals.
