Apichatpong Weerasethakul’s Four Restored Films Acquired by The Match Factory for World Sales

The Match Factory, a sales outfit owned by Mubi, has acquired four 4K-restored feature films by Thai auteur Apichatpong Weerasethakul for international sales. The collection includes the 2002 Un Certain Regard Prize winner Blissfully Yours and the 2010 Palme d'Or winner Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives. These works, spanning over a decade of the director's career, are scheduled for a formal launch during the upcoming Venice International Film Festival to reach global markets.
