Democratic House candidate says she was raped while repairing campaign signs

Bernadette Greene-Placentia, a Democratic candidate for Arizona's 8th Congressional District, reported being raped in August while repairing campaign signs in a parking lot. Meanwhile, the campaign of Janelle Stelson, a Democrat running in Pennsylvania's 10th Congressional District, denied that Chimaobim Adedayo Igbojekwe, a Nigerian national arrested by ICE for disorderly conduct and public exposure, was associated with her team. Both incidents involve Democratic House candidates facing distinct legal and personal challenges during their current election cycles.
