Armed man charged toward Democratic candidate for Ohio governor at fair, police say

Patrick Havas, 38, was arrested Sunday after charging toward Democratic candidate for Ohio governor Amy Acton at the Canfield Fair. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that Havas forced his way through a crowd, injuring several people. Authorities recovered two pistols, a taser, and brass knuckles from the assailant. The Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the arrest of the man, who targeted the former public health director during a campaign stop before being stopped by troopers.
