Hurricane Lala Tracker as Storm Sparks Power Outage in Hawaii

Hurricane Lala struck Hawaii, causing at least one death in a car crash on the Big Island. Governor Josh Green reported enormous storm damage, including 19 roofs ripped off buildings. The storm caused widespread power outages, leaving over 100,000 residents without electricity. Now downgraded to a tropical storm, Lala continues to bring life-threatening flooding to Hawaii island and Maui County, alongside heavy rainfall and gusty winds across Oahu as it travels south away from the islands.
