Astronauts deploy solar array on 100th US spacewalk by International Space Station crew members

Crew members aboard the International Space Station celebrated Halloween by wearing creative costumes made from available materials. Simultaneously, NASA astronaut Anil Menon and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Joshua Kutryk conducted a seven-hour spacewalk on October 29. This mission marked the 100th US spacewalk performed by the International Space Station crew, during which the astronauts successfully deployed a new solar array outside the orbiting laboratory to maintain power for the facility's ongoing scientific operations.
