‘Backrooms’ Sets HBO Max Streaming Release Date

Backrooms, directed by Kane Parsons and based on internet lore IP, will stream on HBO Max starting September 25. The film, starring Renate Reinsve and Chiwetel Ejiofor, has become A24's highest-grossing movie to date, surpassing Marty Supreme with a global gross of $396.5M. Following its streaming launch, the movie will make its linear debut on Saturday, September 26, at 8PM E.T. The production adapts the popular web series focused on liminal spaces for a wide audience.
