Pocket Outside: an open model that helps you close the screen

Two projects submitted for the Hacktoberfest Open-Source AI Challenge focus on reducing screen time. Pocket Outside uses an open model to suggest short outdoor missions based on user moods and time constraints, providing simple steps for nature engagement. Meanwhile, TrailPal Punjab offers an offline open-weight model for identifying plants, birds, and insects in Punjab. It features daily quests to encourage exploration, ultimately instructing users to put their phones away after completing their nature tasks.
