The project comes from Fake Empire founders Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, alongside Susan Rovner and Rachel Kaplan. The series follows the character Bella Baldwin, an outer-borough resident. This production falls under the first-look deal between Fake Empire and Amazon MGM Studios, marking the latest project from the co-showrunners known for their work on the series Gossip Girl.
