Belleville Fire honors 9/11 in Moment of Remembrance Ceremony

The Belleville Fire Department Station 4 in Belleville, Ill., held a Moment of Remembrance Ceremony on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, to honor the September 11th attacks. The event featured the presentation and retiring of colors by personnel including Captain Ryan Mahoney. Performances included bagpipes by Eric Kuuhl, Taps by Thomas Birkner, and the Belleville East High School Vocal Ensemble. A World Trade Center steel beam was displayed during the commemorative musical medley.
