Beshear renews calls for McConnell to release additional information on health

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear sent a letter to Senator Mitch McConnell demanding that the Republican address Kentuckians regarding his continued absence from Congress or resign. McConnell has not appeared in public since being hospitalized for an unspecified medical condition on June 14. While McConnell’s office has provided two photos and various statements, Beshear continues to call for the release of additional health information to clarify the senator's current status and ability to serve.
