NaturDex: a Pokédex for real nature that runs offline on a recycled phone

Peep and NaturDex are submissions for the Hacktoberfest Open-Source AI Challenge. Peep identifies birds via songs or photos using open models running locally on phones, ensuring functionality without signal and total privacy. Similarly, NaturDex acts as a Pokédex for real nature, allowing users to photograph plants and animals offline. It records discoveries with numbers and dates to encourage children to explore the outdoors and fill their digital collection using recycled phone hardware.
