Chicago Fire Department commemorates the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks

The Chicago Fire Department held a memorial ceremony at Navy Pier to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, attended by Gov. JB Pritzker and Mayor Brandon Johnson. Simultaneously, President Donald Trump and Melania Trump honored the approximately 3,000 victims during a ceremony at the Pentagon. This event, marking the deadliest attack on American soil, included War Secretary Pete Hegseth and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to honor the fallen.
