Blanche: DOJ lawsuit not trying to ‘stop the certification of Alaska’s election’

Attorney General Todd Blanche stated that the Justice Department is not attempting to stop the certification of Alaska’s election. The DOJ filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the district of Alaska to protect election integrity, specifically addressing a candidate sharing the same name as Sen. Dan Sullivan. In response, Common Cause and the ACLU have filed a motion to intervene in the legal proceedings to challenge the DOJ's actions regarding the Senate election certification.
