BMW Championship first round at Bellerive Country Club

The 2026 BMW Championship commenced at Bellerive Country Club in Town & Country, Missouri. The event began with a Pro-Am on Thursday, August 19, 2026, featuring professional golfer Akshay competing on Hole 3 with caddie Joe Greiner. Following this, the first round officially opened on Friday, August 20, 2026. The opening ceremonies were highlighted by a flyover performed by two A-10s from the 303rd Fighter Squadron based at Whiteman Air Force Base to mark the start.
