Body of last missing hiker found after Grand Canyon flooding

Authorities have recovered the bodies of two missing hikers in different national parks. In the Grand Canyon, human remains were identified as Timothy Allen Smith, the final person missing following deadly flash flooding in late August. Separately, the body of Neil Gehring was located in Olympic National Park. Gehring had disappeared after departing the Madison Falls Trailhead for an overnight trek. Both recovery operations concluded after search efforts identified the missing individuals in these wilderness areas.
