Five major publishers—Hachette, Macmillan, McGraw‑Hill, Elsevier, Cengage—and author Scott Turow have filed a class‑action copyright infringement lawsuit against Meta and CEO Mark Zuckerberg. They claim Meta repeatedly copied their works from pirate sites to train its Llama AI models.
